Dear Carla,
First I would like to apologise for not coming to see you on Friday and Saturday to help you pack your things to move. I am also sorry for not coming to have lunch with you. Thanks for giving my report to Mrs Ebbel, she said it was great and gave me a GOLD STAR! Thank you for being an amazing counsellor and friend. And thanks for always understanding my problems. You have helped me a lot and I will miss you.
Yes, I did go to Colleen's birthday party and it was so fun. We played lots of cool games and ate yummy party food. But I loved the chocolate birthday cake the most. Unfortunately, I had a sore tummy after all the food I ate but I had the best fun of my life so it was ok. So thank you for making me think about going as I said I had a great time at her birthday party.
I will miss you,
Love Bradley.
In class, we have been reading a book called There's a Boy in the girl's bathroom. And in the book Bradly wrote a goodbye letter to his teacher/counsellor because she was moving to another school. so here is a what have written if I was Bradly. How would you feel if you were wiring a goodbye letter to someone?
Ka pai Ana. I like how you've used the proper format for a letter and put yourself in the shoes of a character from the book (not his actual shoes though I hope). I would feel sad writing a goodbye letter to someone but technology is so amazing these days you can still stay in touch. My mum and sister are in England but I can still speak to them every week which is nice.
ReplyDeleteKia Ora Ana. My name is Alofa from Room 23. I like how you talked about Bradley going to Colleen's birthday party and how Bradley felt when you got there. And also how Bradley felt sorry for not visiting Carla. It tells me about how Bradley feels for Clara. Ka pai!
ReplyDeleteHey! Check out My Blog
And Room 23's blog
Blog you later!
Hi Ana, my name is Imogen I'm a student from Paihia school. I like the way that you wrote a letter as someone else. I also like how you have the right format for your thank you letter and how you put your precise address. I have never written in the perspective of someone else so it was cool how you wrote your letter. Did you like the book?
ReplyDeleteHi Ana my name is Liam, and I am in Room 6.
ReplyDeleteI loved how you explained what happened in detail and summarised it really well.
I remember when we read this, I think I have a blog post like this.
Did you enjoy the book?
